Dracula [1958]
Horror of Dracula
Directed by: Terence Fisher
This film finds itself in the 1001 films you must watch before you die list and rightfully so. It was ahead of it's time with effects. The ending was memorable. The score was suspenseful and added to the overall aesthetic draw of the film. The costumes and settings were #gothichorror perfection!
I originally intended to share this review on Sir Christopher Lee's birthday. I really love this one. He is a enchanting yet haunting Count Dracula. Cushing is a memorable Van Helsing. I have nothing negative to say about this one. I think it was consistent and really hooked you in moments in. Truly a legendary film and worth it's place as 1001 films you must see before you die.
9.3/10
