For Rye [2021]
By: Gavin Gardiner
How far will someone go for the quest of truth? When you have the truth, is it enough? Will it ever be enough?
Gardiner crafts a macabre mystery thoroughly weaved from sentence to sentence; page to page. The story taunts your perspective and seduces your intuition more and more. It is a nightmare don't mistake the author or me, your humble reviewer as being facetious. It pulls apart all senses of reality. Days after reading it, I'm still thinking about it. Questioning my grasp at the truth of duality and purpose of the story. There's so much to understand yet like Renata you just need to know more. Is more enough? It is a symphony of bittersweet macabre. I would love to write an extended review of this book but I don't want to give spoilers. So, I'll leave you with this. Some truths are better left unheard but if you're curious; how far will you go to quench your appetite for mystery?
5/5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bravo! Gavin Gardiner bravo indeed! I'm completely blown away. 👏
