🎈IT: Chapter 2 🎈

Before I begin my review this time around I'd like to change things up slightly and revolve my views as someone going into this with a clean slate. Forgetting Tim Curry's performance is incredibly hard to do because he was standout in my opinion. Any who, on with the review. From the moment we sat down to the last it was quite a journey. Parts of the film flowed consistently and parts dragged. I found myself cheering on certain characters more so than others. The jump scares albeit predictable did manage to deeply submerge you. I loved how much more you learned about the characters. I enjoyed the random bits of humor. Pennywise this time around didn't unnerve me like he did in the first chapter. I feel that was intentional. Amazing settings, interesting plot, believable and admirable underdog characters, great casting, surreal nostalgia, and enough creep factor. I enjoyed it. From speaking with others my rating was higher than most.
