Mark of the Witch (1970) Directed by: Tom Moore A witch curses and vows revenge on the man who kills her. Fast forward the story and a student otherwise known as Jill comes across a book of spells. Thinking it's nothing her and her buddies begin a ritual. Unbeknownst to the group, Jill now is inhabited by the spirit of the witch. Tune in, if you like low budget 70s films, with regrettably awful acting.
My thoughts: I've seen some low budget films in my time that weren't bad but this stunk! I wouldn't recommend it. I noticed some critics did see some value to this, I however couldn't. Jill's "performance" was the real horror in this. In one of the scenes, one of the students approaches her hot on her lead and basically, willingly is easily duped into her fate. Oh bother 🤦♀️🙄 The dialogue was awful. The setting was forgettable. The plot could have been the saving point to this but that failed too!
Final Score: 2/10-Morgana
