Mutant (1984) Directed by: John Cardos Two brothers find themselves eager to start their vacation! Who can blame them? Cruising along the back roads to their destination they find out soon enough, be careful who you cross. After being run off the road by some crazy locals they find a ride from someone else. Thinking they finally caught a break they head over to the town to find out they don't have the welcome they expected. It's pretty clear they aren't wanted around. One of the brothers doesn't like the way things are shaping up. We all have been here before so we know where this is going or...do we? 😉 See if the brothers, make it out of this mutated world alive?!
My thoughts: Interesting film. A first for me really. I began watching this and thought for sure I'd be giving this a low rating. I was wrong! Tale of survival and mutant/leech/zombie vampire/dinosaur rawring later I changed my mind. This had awesome makeup and costumes on the mutants, some one liners, action, transformation scenes, and the 80s aesthetic that appeals to me. Check it out, and see if it will survive your personal rating!
