My Mom's a Werewolf (1989) Review

My Mom's a Werewolf (1989) Directed by: Michael Fischa

No, it's not a terrible case of indigestion! You're a werewolf, Leslie! Leslie, a bored housewife feels ignored by her husband. Feeling he spends too much time watching American Football instead of well, noticing her. A lone eccentric man spots this opportunity and gives Leslie something she thought she was missing. 😂 As she soon finds out she got a little more than she bargained for. Her daughter has somewhat of a nonchalant attitude towards horror enlists her horror buddy to save her mom. She soon finds out that monsters just might be real! ("I have never met anyone who lives and breathes monsters the way you do.")

Entertaining, humorous, and relatively fast moving. I loved the humor. There honestly wasn't much horror to it. The actor who played the husband I honestly didn't care for. I realized why, he was casted as the Herman in the 80s reboot. He was overly campy for my taste. Campy describes this well and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Check it out if you love cheesy 80s horror like I do!

Final Score: 8/10
