Nerd Do Well Book Review

Nerd Do Well

By: Simon Pegg

While browsing the shelves of Half Priced Books, I stumbled across this book. It's sat on my personal bookshelf for a few months now. This year I decided to finally start reading my books. At that point, I can decide to keep it or pass it on to another reader.

I've been a fan of Simon Pegg since 'Shaun of the Dead'. I love his unapologetic and proud mantra he has about being a nerd. It's who he is and he encourages others to be proud of being nerds. ❤ Naturally, I felt compelled to purchase this book.

Simon Pegg tells the story of his life although briefly in snippets and connects rather analytically certain points in his life to who he is now. He tells the story of how 'Spaced' came to existence and his thoughts around 'Shaun of the Dead.' An interesting little tidbit I didn't know about him was that he was an extra in 'Land of the Dead'. His favorite zombie is Bub, from 'Dawn of the Dead'. They used the same mold for Pegg as Bub's for 'Land of the Dead'.

If you like all things geeky and are looking for a quirky read with that Pegg charm and humor, give this one a read!
