Kind of?! 🤔 Party host, Angela encourages her party goers for a night of debauchery! Full of sex, drugs, rock n roll, and demons? Yeah, that's right demons. Things seem okay until Angela gets bitten by a skeleton that they stumble upon in the basement. It turns out to be one of the 6 party guests that went missing over 80 years ago!! Things start to go down to the deep south for the remaining party goers with each death or fight getting increasingly disturbing than the last. Well, they break the curse or will they become the gateway for the demons into the present?
Oh man, I loved the original. Major credit and props go to Eva for that. You do get a few tokens to the original like Linnea handing out candy in her outfit from the original one minus the lipstick lol. This remake had a great soundtrack. I enjoyed Edward Furlong in it. The rest just wasn't for me. The crazy demon sex scene, the blood river that reminded me of period nightmares lol too just over the top in your face camp factor. It wasn't terrible but not sure why it got recommended to me. I'll go with the soundtrack and stick to the original. I did like the beginning sequence. For the most part it lost the overall wow factor the original had.
5/10 overall 9/10 for the soundtrack
