Scooby Doo Meets the Boo Brothers (1987) Directed by: Carl Urbano

Shaggy inherits his uncles land and his fortune!! However, he doesn't receive a warm welcome and from the get go is advised to "Leave this place". What classic Scooby Doo does not have mystery, red herrings, and surprise... a treasure hunt. Will Shaggy claim his fortune or will he lose it at the caravan of characters hot on their pursuit for his new found wealth or...him! I actually remember this special from childhood. I really enjoyed it!! As an adult, not so much. For a film titled Scooby Doo Meets the Boo Brothers they are hardly in it. They have the personas of the Three Stooges. For me, that's a bonus but again they are hardly in it. It's a bit obvious who is responsible for all the chaos from the beginning. It lost the charm I loved about it as a kid. I actually enjoyed reluctant werewolf more. The characters are forgettable. It seemed like this special had one too many characters that really didn't need so much time on screen.
