Serial Mom (1994) Review

Serial Mom (1994) Directed by: John Waters Streamed on: Starz

It's a sunny day at the Sutphin household and life is peachy there. Beverly has it all. A loving husband, two children, the big house what more can a housewife ask for? Perhaps... a little mischief?! At least that's how it seems at first. As Beverly's story unfolds you begin to notice that she isn't your typical housewife and appearances can be deceiving. Beverly trades a love for pie for a taste of murder. Be careful in who you cross because the next killer on your block may be armed with a leg of lamb? If you're mildly intrigued you won't regret checking out another instant classic by the Pope of Trash!

My thoughts: I enjoyed the plot, the premise, the setting, great one liners, the humor, and any horror kid would enjoy and relate to Lillard's role in this family 'the residential horror kid'. I absolutely enjoyed this two thumbs way up!

Final Score: 9/10-Morgana
