Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 (1987) Review

Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 [1987]

Directed by: Lee Harry

If I had to pick a staple #holidayhorror film it would be this one. This film was first introduced to me by my wonderful friend Eva Dead. This gem has suffered quite frankly the largest travesty. It has missed out on a glorious performance by one, Ricky.

His enthusiasm has gone unnoticed and that's just "naughty ". Hollywood needs to be "punished" for missing out on handing Ricky his rightfully earned Oscar! His devotion to camp and epic one liners is just the icing on the cake of true 80s horror this film is.

All jokes aside, I do really enjoy this film. It reminds me of hanging out with my horror fam both near and far. Gathering together at our homes, watching horror movies, laughing, and just building new memories on horror. This was a heavy rotation from memory and I'm truly grateful to have witnessed this 🤣. If you love over the top acting, with a simply devoted to that role lead, please do yourself a favor and watch it. It's absolutely hilarious! 🤣🎁🎅🤣 If you're looking for something more serious it definitely is not this but that's why this deserves a re-watch. Lol
