A dolorous and determined Dr. Cadman decides to save a man from the gallows in hopes that with his ingenuity he will help him save his beloved wife. Chiming "In the interest of science, anything anything can be justified." Using "live" subjects he experiments on ways to save his wife using a drug called black sleep. But, how far will our determined and restless Dr. Cadman push his experimentation, racing the clock to save the woman he loves?
With an all star lineup, lucid nightmare sequences, light brushes of perceptive shadows, a score that ties in all the mood with subtle editing this horror film seems to have it all! Check it out. This film has received high and low ratings. I personally, enjoyed it.

This film was also Bela's last film role.
