The Phantom Fiend (1932) Also known as The Lodger Based on novel: The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog by Marie Belloc Lowndes Directed by: Maurice Elvey

This was the first talkie remake after Hitchcock's silent. Receiving mixed reviews across the board it wasn't terrible in my opinion. I enjoyed the sound of crackling film. I enjoyed Ivor's performance. Overall it's pretty decent for a one time watch. Especially, if you love silent films and seeing as this was the first talkie to take on Hitchcock's silent. –Morgana
