The Screaming Skull (1958) Directed by: Alex Nicol Streamed on: Amazon Prime 💀I saw this once before several years ago but barely could remember it. So, I decided to re-watch it. 💀 My thoughts: I have to say towards the end with such early effects as these it really helped to have the right mood set. This one did just that! The music, the story, decor, main setting all fit the ambiance Nicol tried to set. There's a scene as I mentioned towards the end that was so minimal it really was enticing and it stuck with me. I did enjoy this one. I'm not sure why this got such low ratings.
The story follows a fairly recent windowed husband and his new lady in his estate. The estate is left to him after his wife meets a somewhat tragic end. The new woman suffers from a traumatic past and the new husband thinks it's a good idea to take root on his old estate. But... we have been here before 😉 haven't we? 🤷♀️ We all get an idea on how... everything isn't as it seems or is it? 🤔 –Morgana
