Vampire in Brooklyn [1995] Review

Vampire in Brooklyn [1995]

Directed by: Wes Craven

Vampire in Brooklyn delivers in true horror comedy fashion. I knew once I saw John Witherspoon I randomly stumbled on something good.

Maximillian begins a quest to find his Dhampir and his quest brings him to Brooklyn. We also have Rita who still is working through the loss of her mother. However, she suspects there's something foul afoot when strange occurrences seem to happen around her new case. Can her partner and her solve the case? 🦇

I enjoyed this one. This definitely is a product of it's time. It wasn't well received among other critics through my research. I thought the blend of comedy with the gore and effects were on the marker. Not bad!
