Vampire: The Masquerade
Winter's Teeth [2021]
by Blake Howard, Tim Seeley, and Tini Howard
On Free Comic Book Day of 2021, this was one of the freebies I grabbed. The art as usual caught my attention. I'm glad I finally had a moment to read it. The story had as can be expected dramatic tones. The mood was alluring as most vampire lore is. There was some cliches as can be expected.
Bonus points, to the writers for the aggrotech/industrial band name drops 🙌. I had a Buddy the Elf moment, when I read that. I know that band I like so so song by them blah blah blah... 😂
It's an interesting read that I feel I just need to digest the material and revisit. I don't necessarily hate it or completely thrilled with it. It just lands a mid point for me. It's not terrible really. I'm just not sure if I want to continue this series. 🤔 It did as usual leave the reader on a cliff hanger. For the sake of being fair I'm going to rate it at a 3/5 ⭐ for now. It might go up or go down at a later point.
