8-Bit Christmas (2021)
Directed by: Michael Dowse
Oh, the 80s. I was 5 when it ended but my memories of it are fond one's. I remember the SNES and how much I wanted one. Similarly, in my home we weren't allowed to have video game consoles. My cousin's however got the 64 and my sister and I would bike to their house to play. So, this one kind of tugged on the heart strings and memory banks as I watched it. ❤
It was definitely a trip down memory lane and I feel that was the main appeal to most of us. Remembering the adventures and lenses we had as kid's. I thought the humor was okay but ultimately I feel something was missing. I appreciate the nostalgia and I'm sure I'm not alone but again something was missing. Not half bad but I wouldn't personally say it was "An instant classic".
7.3/10
