Sex Drive [2008]

You ever find yourself in a bit of a stop when it comes to watching movies or writing? You can't find something to watch so you ask a friend. Well... that's how I watched and discovered this film.
A forlorn Ian finds romance online. The girl he hopes to finally seal the deal with agrees to; if he shows up in his GTO Judge (it's actually his brother's😉). Well, if that's not a recipe for disaster I don't know what is. Of course, Ian is determined to make the trip to Tennessee to meet her. Mind you, she's not expecting someone that necessarily looks like Ian. She's expecting someone more in the lines of his brother. This doesn't stop him for setting out to finally have sex. Will Ian get the girl or will he fail? I guess you'll have to find out.
Like the films before it, it's got no boundaries it doesn't mind crossing. With a homophobic brother to a knock on the Amish it's no surprise how this film could be seen as offensive. I honestly didn't remember watching it. 🤷♀️ It was just that forgettable to me. There is a theme in this film that not everything is as it seems. Ian's best bud settles down with the Amish since he falls head over heels for one of the girls. There's that. I just feel this type of film has been done before and personally with me completely forgetting I watched it...I really don't have much to add.
I suppose Seth Green for me was the star of the film. Proving Ian that you can't judge a book by it's cover. Some of the humor was okay. Other than that I don't have much to add. If you don't mind a film that's not afraid to push the limits and get a little raunchy give it a shot. Otherwise you're honestly not missing much. 4/10
