Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman (2000) Directed by: Kathi Castillo Music composed by: Mark Watters
Alvin wakes up from a nightmare of being chased by a Werewolf. Now, with the imagery sharp in his mind 🤔 He has his eyes set on the mysterious Mr. Talbot the new neighbor next door. However, Dave suspects he has dedicated too much of his mind to monsters. Dave places Alvin on a strict monster free diet (GASP!!) Additionally, Alvin has to give up his role as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in his schools play. Thinking this is a great opportunity to boost Theodore's timid personality he is casted as Mr. Hyde. While Simon is casted as Dr. Jekyll. During this time, Alvin makes a deal with Simon to put his love for monsters a side if he helps him get proof that their neighbor is a werewolf. All the while, Theodore is bit by a strange large dog. You know where this is going. 😉
Join the Chipmunks, as their mission begins on their hunt for the Wolfman and curing Theodore. Will Alvin swear off monsters? Will Theodore be cured? Is Mr. Talbot a werewolf? Tune in and find out.
The animation is strong. I liked that it had a cohesive plot. Like most Chipmunks films you should expect some music. If you can get past that I think the whole family can enjoy this one. It's one my nephews enjoy. Overall I liked it.
🎃🎃-Fun film for the whole family
7/10 overall
