Bad Samaritan (2018) Directed by: Dean Devlin Starring: David Tennant, Robert Sheehan, and Kerry Condon Imagine you and your best mate at the top of the world. All seems well, you got the right set up and the accessibility to have a central heist on a continuous basis. Your setup? Posing as two valets and using anyone foolish to hand you their car keys, car to head back to their homes and rob them blind. All the while, they are sitting at dinner waiting for their main course. Now, here's where the twist drops... Your usual play is set and this man otherwise known as "Cale" hands you his keys as he joins his party. The play is set and onward you go to his rather expensive and exquisite bachelor pad awaiting in anticipation of what your heist will yield today. However, like most suspense dramas things aren't always as they seem. You meander to find a heavily bolted door and behind it...well, you'll have to tune in to see what lies behind that door!
My thoughts: Delicately presented and not missing a turn this horror thriller will have you on the edge of your seat. I found myself glued hoping to see a somewhat predictable ending unfold. The mystery engulfed from the second David Tennant "Cale" handed Sean his keys. Intense. Elusive and a moody thriller is what you will find in 'Bad Samaritan'. How far will one person go to do the 'right thing' or the villain in doing the 'wrong'. Tune in and find out.
Final Score: 8.5/10-Morgana
