Batman: Hush (2019) Review

Batman: Hush (2019)

Directed by: Justin Copeland

Streamed on: HBO Max

Mystery once again surfaces in the night in Gotham. Although, by now this would be normal... However, this time it's a little different when a new villain surfaces from the shadows Hush! Who is Hush? What is his grand scheme?

Back in the day when I began on my personal batquest to go through the Best of Batman graphic novels list, this was one of the first one's I read. One I need to honestly revisit since it has been awhile. I remember really loving it. I loved how this story continues to add to the canon story of Bruce and Selina. I can't say much because spoilers.

When your reputation is all you are known for how can you prove to the world around you, that you have found personal growth? Will the world only see the "you" they have grown accustomed to or can they really see the true you? A better version of your former self? However, with personal growth and change so comes the ghosts of future's yet to be determined how will this story pan out? It is an enigma and a thread you can pull away from this story.

I loved the animation. I liked the voice casting. It was a great.

8.3/10
