Blancanieves (2012)

Directed by: Pablo Berger

Blancanieves or Snow White, finds herself revamped in this perfect 1930s Seville novella. Where you're lead into another rendition on a fairytale that seduces your curiosity further. By the way, the actor who played her father bears a striking resemblance to Vincent Price! I love silent films and I have a huge love for black & white films, add mesmerizing cinematography, strong and talented casting, fairytale lore, and you have my undivided attention!!

This film completely blew me away! It had an interesting spin on Snow White. The story was cohesive. It was something fresh to me! I'm completely in love with this film! I recommend this to anyone who likes silent films, fairytales, alluring cinematography, and enough sadness between each take. Great film! Check it out!

10/10
