For 14 years, Max Cady has been in an 8x9 cell. Plotting, and patiently waiting his inevitable release when he realizes his attorney buried evidence. This evidence would allow for him to be released early. He is royally screwed. He doesn't let it take a hold of his mind but he plots.
On his release date he begins life as a free man. Now, free he can begin his mission to fully bring revenge on his attorney Sam Bowden. Not just Bowden but everyone responsible. How far will Cady go to reap vengeance?
WOW! Scorsese knocked it out of the park for me. This film has a strong cast. The story is brilliant and as unnerving as it was you just couldn't look away. It was fantastic! You were engaged and invested to the story early on. De Niro played an unhinged sociopath well. I mean I really am just flabbergasted. It's an experience no matter how you look at this film. You just have to watch it and understand the ride you're in for. You don't know where you're heading but man are you glad you are on the other side of the screen lol Just watch this one if you haven't already!
