That first day of class! You never know what to expect. Perhaps, just this once there's a little foreshadowing of thing's to come. As students we invest so much time in learning and build a craving to succeed. However, some student namely Lucas will stop at nothing to excel in his studies. Who will win this game of chess, Lucas the student or Mr. Butler the instructor?
I didn't know what to expect from this film. The premise seemed interesting. What I ended up watching, was something completely unexpected. This film has a lot of themes at play and much like chess... you don't know what to expect next. The writers did an excellent job building suspense. The true horror was the atmosphere that followed Lucas. It's one of those films you need to pay attention to otherwise you'll miss something. I think the more the film progresses the more is revealed about Lucas.
