The Frankenstein Chronicles [2015-17] Program creators: Benjamin Ross and Barry Langford
While we took our break, I finally took time to invest in watching this. At first, I loved the setting, gritty and grim. I love a good period drama but after finally finishing the first episode this series just became background for me. I felt uninterested and not invested in seeing where this lead. Believe me, I tried to like this. I tried restarting it and fell asleep. I tried skipping around nothing. I wanted to finish the series and see how it all panned out. Unfortunately, after much trying I threw in the towel and decided to write my review. It started with good steam from the first episode but by episode two I lost interest. I don't remember anything about this series except the brilliant costumes and setting. The mood much like my review fell flat and my interest faltered. I've heard other reviewers enjoy it. I however didn't.
