Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Film Review

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban [2004]

Directed by: Alfonso Cuarón

Novel by: J.K. Rowling

I read the book first years ago and saw the film. This to memory is still my favorite book of the series. I loved the film. Recently, I took it upon myself to re-read the novels and rewatch the films.

There are some major differences between the timeline in the on screen adaption. It still holds the magic it did the first time I saw it. I believe it has something to do with the characters. This book introduces two beloved characters, Professor Remus Lupin and Sirius Black. Two of my favorite characters. Lupin has been my favorite since I first read about him. I love this film series and even more so the books. At some point in the future I'll find a way to include the other films. Today's post is a tribute to the novel and film that began my love for the series. I credit it to Professor Lupin, Sirius Black, and the horror elements hidden in this one.

9/10
