Hubie Halloween Review

Hubie Halloween (2020)

Directed by: Steven Brill

Halloween is a time for tricks and treats! For some like Hubie,, there's more tricks than treats on his end. However, as he finds himself in the middle of the mystery all eyes turn to him. Could Hubie has orchestrated the latest mystery in Salem or is their something or someone else responsible? Tune in and find out.

I found all the hidden cameo's and nods to his films rather nostalgic. I think the cinematography was well. The jokes didn't seem too sour for me. I found more hidden treats than I expected when I gave this a watch. The setting was awesome and quite festive considering the story. The characters all stood out and were each memorable in their own way. I thought this was a fun watch during the spooky season. The moral to the story was sweet. There's something endearing about Hubie's character and his love for keeping the spirit alive of Halloween. Of course, you can expect some familiar faces which I thought was perfectly casted for their roles in this latest film. The moment's of suspense were well done. Overall, I really did enjoy this one.

If you love Adam Sandler films, his humor, a bit of nostalgia, Halloween, and enough hidden treats to keep you searching give this one a watch. You won't be disappointed.
