Just Married (2003)
Directed by: Shawn Levy
Love has a way of finding you unexpectedly. As storybook as that sounds so is the premise of this film. Tom a regular guy who falls for Sarah who is the daughter of a wealthy family. But, like love the matters of the heart doesn't see status it just finds that chemistry. It's obvious someone like Tom isn't welcome in their circle but Tom tries to fit in. On their honeymoon besides the obvious class differences so does the first ripples in their marriage come. Can they pull through or were they doomed from the start?
Yet, another VHS I had owned. I saw it on Hulu and decided to give it a rewatch. It was okay. It wasn't terrible but it was predictable. As most rom coms are. I did like the humor. I think for me Murphy stole this film. 🖤
