La Bamba [1987]

This film follows the beginning, the in between frail moments, the heart, and soul of Ritchie Valens.  His voice graced the airwaves briefly but his legacy transcends on. I'm not sure how close to fact this film is.

This film has enough heart, heartache, redemption, timelessness, and overall charisma. If you love all things rock n roll and love a biopic, check this one out.
