Luke Cage Noir (2019) Review

Luke Cage Noir [2019]

Authors: Mike Benson, Adam Glass

Illustrator: Shawn Martinbrough

Luke Cage finds himself in 1930s Prohibition era Harlem. There's a mystery afoot and perhaps his friend Stryker might have some answers? Where is Josephine, his girlfriend? Stryker gives him the news that she died. Luke maintains his reservations.  Where is Josephine and what's to become of Luke?

I love the noir aesthetic mixed with Marvel characters. I love the illustrations. The story was cohesive. You don't have to have much familiarity with Luke's storyline to read it. I love the mystery angle and how you feel like you are a detective. Excellent plot with illustrations!
