A young couple start their first date with hopes and dreams on new beginnings. What they don't count on is their moment suddenly spoiled by a routine stop by a police officer. It is clear tension is in the air. When one thing leads to another their evening suddenly takes a drastic turn. Now, on the run they have each other. Will the truth come out and what is to become of Queen and Slim? Will this situation bring them closer together or push them further apart?
This film has scenes that challenge its viewers to understand and generate conversation on perspective. No matter who or what side of the fence you find yourself. The ending upset me. For more reasons than one which I can't reveal to avoid spoilers. I really liked the character of Slim. I felt his story really is the anchor of this film. It all begins and ends with him.
