I feel this film was an open letter to the franchise, Wes Craven, and fan base.

I have a few complaints. I didn't honestly care for the "new faces" to the fifth addition. Some of their lines were horrible and not the usual type of horrible I mean terrible.

I had a Brodie moment in the theater... "where do you come up with this s...?" 😂

I loved that they brought back Dewey, Sidney, and Gale. ❤ You can't beat the classic. I did however feel this brought something new to the franchise with still sticking true to being a part of it. It's not terrible. I definitely will give this a rewatch. I also love the general mystery to this franchise.
