Can anyone really escape the ghosts of their past? Sidney hopes to face her demons now that several years have passed since the series of murders. We follow her story, Gale's, and now Sheriff Dewey. Like installments in the horror franchise, one can't escape those ghosts for too long. As bodies start to turn up Ghostface hopes to pin this one on Sidney! Can Sidney prove her innocence and escape the clutches of Ghostface once more?
I love the tongue and cheek play on the horror franchise in the beginning of the film. I think it fell slightly flat leading to the grand reveal. I kind of had an idea it was this character. I think this one had good pacing but like the third one I only cared about the original cast. The new additions were meh. 🤷♀️ Overall, it wasn't half bad.
