Swiss Army Man Review

Swiss Army Man (2016) Directed by: Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert A man (Hank) is stranded on an island at his wits end but is saved, by camaraderie he forms with the least likely source. A flatulent corpse that acts like a Swiss army knife? The corpse forms the identity of Manny. Manny possesses magic powers powerful flatulence, an erection that acts as their compass, and a canteen for water. The more Hank talks to Manny the more he seemingly comes to life. All the while helping him understand the ways of being 'normal'.

"I just wanted to give you all the things in life that everyone else gets to have and all the things I thought I didn't deserve to have til I met you. And they might laugh at us. They might call us names, and they might think were weird but it doesn't matter what they think."

My thoughts: A different perspective on friendship and how one person finds himself along the process. A story about accepting your quirks that make you, well you.

Final Score: 5.5/10-Morgana
