The Big Lebowski (1998)
Directed By: The Coen Brothers
From the first few minutes of the film, I knew this was going to be something special. The score weaves with the cinematography in a seamless manner. The story takes you through all ups and downs. This film is brilliance. It sets a mood for its audience and you wonder where it will lead you but you know it's going to be an adventure. This has it all.
It's no surprise it is in the #1001filmsyoumustseebeforeyoudie . It's an experience and your unique takeaway may differ from mine. So, I'll have to end my review there.
This film isn't at all appearances what you expect and I believe that's just effective. I love this one. I've had this in my to re-review for a year now. It has taken me this long to collect my thoughts on it. 😅 I really love the soundtrack. I love the depth and perspective.
10/10

I remember when I first saw this movie. I knew I was in for something special and I knew I was going to love this movie in the first few minutes of the film. It was a journey and one I'm glad I finally got around to viewing. It's an exceptional film and I think it's time for a revisit. Then perhaps with a fresh view I'll be able to add more substantial notes.
