The Bucket List Review

The Bucket List (2007)

Directed by: Rob Reiner

Everyone is on a journey. Everyone has their own unique path. These two characters are no strangers to this fact. It is a journey to that destination that connects them and unites their stories. We learn more about the people they were in this adventure. What will the journey teach them?

The Bucket List is one of those films that is seldom talked about but I feel it has enough kernels of wisdom in it. It's profound in the most subtle way. I don't want to give up too much on it to spoil the ending. Of course, you see it coming but the journey there is full of wisdom. The humor hits home and you really feel like you're on a journey with the main characters. Through their journey's of self discovery, meaning, and understanding. They learn from each other a little bit about the world around them. It's a great film but it does make me sad. As with the title, can be expected.
