The Rage: Carrie 2 [1999]
Directed by: Katt Shea
Rachel and her best friend Lisa are on the outside looking in. That's until Lisa starts a relationship with one of the guys on the football team. It's obvious the other guys aren't too keen on this, so instead things take a dark turn for Lisa. Which leads her to a permanent solution. Now, Rachel is left with more questions than answers. What happened to Lisa? Why did she feel she had no alternative? What's with these peculiar occurrences of objects moving? 🤔 Hmmm... we've been here before but how will the story go for Rachel tune in and find out!
This has a lot of potential. I wasn't that overly invested with this one like I was with the first one. I did love that Sue makes a return here and still tries to help Rachel. She connects the dots but well you get the point. 😅 too soon? Either way, I felt the antagonists were dry. I wanted them to get justice served but that's a whole level of creativity there. This had some crazy kills. 🤣 Wow! I expected it to go one way and well justice was definitely served. I think I finally know what to rate it. For it's crazy kills and continuation of Sue it earns an extra point or two. (Pun not intended) I thought this was a pretty dry film. It picked up at points but it lost my interest on and off again. I didn't care for the casting of the antagonists. I get they were key faces for the most part in the 90s but horror is not their forte. 🤷♀️...sorry 😬
