The Woman in Black (2012) Review

The Woman in Black Released on: February 3, 2012 Directed by: James Watkins

Set in Edwardian Era London 1909, Arthur (Radcliffe) is a recently windowed lawyer sent on a task to obtain any documents of Alice Drablow (recently deceased) from Crythin Griffith; set everything in order to sell Eel Marsh House. He doesn't receive the kindest of welcomes by the villagers and soon discovers there is something going on. What is it? You'll have to check it out and find out what sort of secrets hide behind the doors of Eel Marsh House.

My thoughts: Quite engaging, from the settings/costumes/ambience! It's all in the details. A few scares/jumps that caught me off guard. Lol Everything is visually engaging. The story hooks you in. I loved as I mentioned previously the attention to details. It's based on a novel by the same name. Worth the view. :)

Final Score: 8/10 - Morgana
