It's another average day in a small town. Picture it's during the Civil War and the marshal is stepping down. Now, who will take up the position as the town's marshal? Well, it looks like a Confederate soldier will be taking charge. Imagine the scandal and the tension this town will stir. It is clear he is not welcome upon arriving. His intentions although unknown in the beginning come forward in the plot development. What are those intentions exactly? Who really is the real trouble in this small town? Tune in, and find out!
My thoughts: I enjoyed the story line. You have to take account it is a product of it's time so a lot of things that wouldn't pass in our times did pass as okay in those times. Weighing everything down, I did enjoy this film. I have realized through my reviewing process I seem to enjoy a good Western. I feel I have to give some credit to my father on that one. I remember watching some Western's growing up. Back on track! lol
This film had a consistent story line. It developed at a decent pace. I did slightly lose interest at points but it reeled you back in. The costumes were vibrant. There was a slight delicacy to the story over all considering again, the time period. The cast was pretty solid overall. The score although I remember minimally worked cohesively.
My final score: 6.5/10
