Another, equal bits disturbing film that finds itself in the #1001filmsyoumustseebeforeyoudie . One again, I could have lived without seeing. The only difference is the air of rebellion that carries through the film. One by the group of 3. 3 young men, craving excitement and angered by the rigid rules they find themselves enslaved too. McDowell's character caught the eye of Kubrick for his Alex in this role.
I for one rooted for the uprising. The Whips were disgusting! It's a tale often told when you have your group of misfits a group of iron clad rigid jerks and a taste for things to be put in order. So who will rule supreme the Whips or the lads?
