Rain Man (1988)
Directed by: Barry Levinson
Charlie has quite the set up. He's living it up and things as per verbatim are about to change when he realizes he has a long lost brother. This brotherly bond will challenge his whole world and also teach Charlie a thing or two about life through the eyes of his dear brother Raymond.
Rain Man is one of those films I never got around to seeing but it has been on my list to eventually watch. It's also on the #1001filmsyoumustseebeforeyoudie list.
It's a great film about finding perspective. It's about learning a little more about yourself once you step into someone's shoes. It's the innocence and heart. The story taught Charlie a little more about himself but in the grand scheme; I think we the audience learned a little more about the world through Raymond's eyes. It's a heartfelt film with an ending that can go one way or another. I loved how they both went on this journey together and how they both took away something in the end.
