Wheels of Fire Review

Wheels of Fire (1985)

Directed by: Cirio H. Santiago

If you like raunchy high flying corny 80s flicks. Hell, throw this one on! From moments in you don't know what to expect but hey! Let me somewhat give you a heads up what to expect in this whatever you want to call it film! You can expect a high flying cartwheel while still managing to shot your targets, corny and predictable sleazy lines from bad guys, K-Mart looking pleather, fire, random characters, a topless woman strapped to the hood of a car for what feels like 15 minutes of the film, powder oatmeal makeup cannibals with blonde wigs and brown robes just feel like they suddenly appear (because why not?), random burst of laughter coming from you not the screen, a Kenny G missed solo during one of the cheesiest sex scenes I have seen on film, mistimed explosions, canons, a brooding protagonist that I have and you will most likely forget exists, few car chases, and plenty of flips/hops from the broody smug lead Trace.

If I can sum up this film in one word random pretty much fits. I never knew what I would find humorous next. The "action" was prime 80s cheese at it's finest lol The outcome I suppose wasn't that expected. I happened upon this film randomly. All I can say is I couldn't stop laughing.. This film is terrible. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a serious post apocalyptic film. If you're mildly intrigued give it a shot but I wouldn't lol

2/10
